Indy Parts Interchangability ??

I found a 93 indy lite that was rolled over and needs a hood and windshield. Do you guys have any idea what other model hood will fit? Or should I try to find a lite hood? It's just for my 13 year old to bang around on, so I don't care what it looks like. I found a 91 indy 500 parts sled with a good hood I could drag home. Thanks, Hope the snow is deeper there that it is here!

Depends on what model of chassis. Wedge,Aggressive,Evolved,Edge. If same style as parts sled,it should fit. Does your style sled have the nosecone? plowking

The Lites are all by themselves- no other hood style will "bolt on".

Thanks for your help. The kid with the lite isn't answering his emails anyways. At least if I do buy it I'll know I'll have to find a lite hood.

Maybe I'll just get my kid a 440 like mine.

Indy Lite or Starlite hoods only.

1998 Indy lite hood compatibility?

Hi, I have a 1998 Indy Lite with a cracked hood around the hinges. Would a 1992/1993 Polaris Indy Lite / Star Lite Hood Red - Black - Part #5431153 fit on the 1998?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

John

The 91-93 Lite uses a different hood. You need one from the 96-98 years.

According the the Polaris website the 96-98 years would be the one you're searching for. Go to the Polaris site: Polaris Snowmobiles : Parts Manuals. Look up your year and model and then check on the right hand side of the parts listing under useage and it will give the years and model that will interchange. You will have to register with them to use their website (free).
