Indy 500 taillight

HEy! I have an Indy 500 I'm working on. It has the 2 taillights that start at the back and wrap around each side of the seat. How do you get at the darn tail light bulbs?? I took the screws out of it and still can't get at it.

HAHA, same question here, my uncles is out and yea, i dont wanna have to give him a ticket, cuz im his nephew, lol.

im assuming its around a 2000 500 xc sp cuz thats what my uncles got. we tried everything today, we were debating whether or not to smash top and slide a new bulb in there. but we decided against that cuz theres gotta be a better way

and i thought SEG knew everything, but i guess hes doesnt with polaris. silly skidoo fanatic. if you get it out seg, hit me up with a pm on how you did it

I'll let you know. There are 2 bolts inside the rear compartment. I might take those out and see if the light comes out.

Are they the small bulbs?
Older Polaris's ( Colts and the like) had a Brake/Tail light and 2 side lights. The 2 smaller bulbs were just the push in type like in a car/truck dash.

I took the screws out but the red part of the lens won't come off! I'll try to look at it more tomorrow.

Guys, After you get the screws out take a putty knife and gently work around the lens prying it out. The seal is very sticky and holds on to the lens like glue. once you get it off it comes off easily the next time. First times a b***h.
