Polaris doesn't publish there horsepower. I am not sure why, but i think it is because they are less than arctic crap and other sleds. Dont matter, they are still number one in my heart. Your 600 out of the box produces about 110-115 horse power. give or take a few. Now if you mod it, you can add on to that number. So if you get somthing that says, "adds 10 hp" then you will have 120 and so on.

Ya, that sounds about right. Thanks for the input. Well I guess it doesn't really matter what the exact numbers are for the horse power ratings as long as I continue to smoke the rest on the lake. I'll try to get some pictures of the ice races next time I go out there. ( Which will probably be this weekend). Let's see how many pics I can get of me out in front of all the skidoo's and artic cats, or whatever else may dare to race a POLARIS!!!!

HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

The 1999 600s by polaris had 115hp and then in 2001 there was a 7% hp increase in the 600s and that puts them up by 123hp roughly... give or take a few hp..... usually if u call your local dealer they will confirm that.
