97 XLT SP front suspension

Hello,
I'm looking looking for info on front suspension parts. My friend crashed his XLT and took the insurance money. He bought it back for $300, and will sell it to me for $300 if i wanna fix it.
The damage is mostly to the left front suspension. It needs the ski, both radius rods, trailing arm, and the trailing arm mount welded. I would like to get a used trailing arm, but I'm not sure what year/model sleds used the same components.
Will any edge chassis with xtra-12 work? Anyone have one for sale.
Thanks for the help

is there any damage to the bulkhead or footrest? if the bulkhead is bent, consider this sled a "parts Only" unit. If it is ok this can easily be fixed for a small amount of money.

Now, 1997 is an odd year, some were CRC front suspensions and some were not. I have done this exact repair on a 1997 XC 600 Triple, including the bellypan and left footrest after some moron switched trail markers to lead sleds down a railroad track with the rails still in place, but covered by snow, and when the ski sticks into a switch on the tracks, it gets busted up real bad.

The 96-97 xtra 12 frt suspensions were the same on the wedge style chassis. These were found on the XLT SP's and the Ultra Xtra 12. Like was stated above if the bulkhead is broke or cracked consider it a parts sled. The rear trailing arm mount/footwell is replaceable so a repair is not to bad a job. Make sure if you do repair you align the frt to factory specs ( camber, ski stance compressed and extended, toe etc. ) to prevent handling issues.

I am almost positive the setup I have is off a 96 XLT SP Xtra-12
I picked it up off ITriumph ( AKA Mouse72 ) I was going to try
and put it under the front of my storm but the trailing arms mounted back
farther than mine so things would not work out
But I still have all the stuff it is in great condition (fox shocks and all the other goodies that go under the front even have some steel skis for it )
