Polaris Body Styles?
Hi, I'm new here and have a question about all the Polaris body styles. I was looking at buying a new cover for my 99' RMK and the covers were related to body style, such as Gen 2, Evolved, Aggressive, etc. How does someone know what body style of Polaris they have? I assume it goes on a machine's age? Thanks for clearing this fogged mind...

I think he might have the evolved chassis. The reason i say so is because my dad just bought a 99 600 rmk and a 700 sks and neither are the same style as my dads friends 00. I belive his the gen II.

Wedge chassis again. I'm pretty sure Polaris always made a good mountain sled, they win every year at the hill climb competitions.

Ha ha,your jealous! I was just seeing if everybody was paying attention. Just threw a little twist in this thread. Actually I really like my Apex. I use to ride Polaris, owned 4 good ones until I bought the 900 Fusion, then I changed. I need to see Polaris get a hold of things before I buy one again. Seems like they are on the right track maybe again. I like my 4 stroke for the most part, but it is scary once you start peeling off the panels. It feels a lot lighter than what it weighs.

haha, I really do like the apex and would like to own one. I hear alot about how they feel alot lighter than they actually are. Sounds nice! Is it boosted yet?

No turbo, just stock is enough for me since all I use it for is trail riding. If I was in the mountains then maybe. I don't race it at all either,it cost enough just itself!
