Hey everyone:
I need your help. My 1987 Polaris Indy Trail air cooled 488cc snowmobile revs really high upon startup and won't come down. The primary clutch is supposed to engage at 4600 rpm, and it does. The rpms continue to rise after that. (My guess is 5500 it stops at)
I can only get it to go down if I choke it, which will kill it if I leave it on too long. The revs come back up right after I turn the choke off. Please give me some suggestions on what to do. Thanks
