Question Secondary Adjustment

I have a 1997 Indy Trail 488 and was wondering what the adjustment on the Secondary clutch is for? Mine is set to 4.

are you talking about the holes that a spring is in? if so that adjusts the pressure the secondary puts on the belt.

i don't beleive you will, unless you put a different spring in the primary or helix in the secondary i would leave it.

the lower you adjust it the less rpm you can turn, but be carefull if you turn them up you can let the engine overeve at full throttle mine before I adjusted them would let the engine turn 9 grand
