Kirkland Lake, Ontario is very sled friendly and allows snowmobiles on most streets. I'd guess and say there are at least 8 groomed access trails to town hotels, gas station, MacDonalds and Tim Horton's (donuts) and about 30 ungroomed trails leading to different residential neighbourhoods. This picture is on the main ring trail at the south end of town near the co-generation power plant (background). They burn wood waste or natural gas to create electricity.
