my bikes boo boo
i was preppin my bike for the last harescramble of the year and while takin off my seat/numberplates to get at the air filter to clean it i found this. my aluminum subframe cracked in two spots. i had my bike in the back of my truck all day drivin around to different places to see if i could get it welded. turns out not many people can weld aluminum, and the only place i found that could couldnt do it till the next day. oh well, im gettin it fixed this week just so it can sit till spring  . thats the ONLY down fall of winter. |

ahh the sub frame, ive seen that before. buy a new sub frame cuz every time you weld it it will brake loose sooner or later.
and it might be a good idea to clean out your air box

yea ive heard from a few people that i should just buy a new sub frame. im gonna price one out at the local shop and probably replace it before spring, since id rather spend money on goodies for my sled!

find somone with a TIG welder. That can be fixed easy. If you lived closer to me id take it to work and fix it for you for free.

well i stick welded it so lets take bets
(i've never stick welded anything let alone aluminum)
how many jumps before it breaks?
