thats way to fast for a 13 y/o. banshee is the hardest quad to drive fast. then powerband is crazy, u will get hurt, ur TOO YOUNG FOR THIS QUAD. i love shees, but u cant ride them in tight woods cuz the flood like its thier job.
its made for like 180+ lb person, ur just too small. i rode one and i noticed how u cant really use all the power unless ur in a field ect.

That is to much quad for you, trade it in for a warrior or a 300ex or something. That things going to pull your arms off be carefull

How big are you cause there are a few 12 and 13 year olds in my school that are 150-180 and are like 5' 10".Because if your like me you should consider trading it in. Im 108 at 5' 2" And have you had any experience on qauds.

yeah id say the banshee is too much for a 13 yr old. hondas are very reliable, go for a 300ex great beginner quad

Why would you buy a 90. There very small and boring. I would recommend like a 250.

I just turned 14 around the time I got my quad.I got and still have a 400ex that is great. Not much to maintain and being a 4 stroke is a positive in the trails.Plus it will last longer between rebuilds.Plus it has great handling.I dont know how experenced you are on a quad but you better be great with a clutched 2 stroke to even start controlling the banshee.I have drove them and unless I was duning or drag racing I probally wouldnt want one.Plus with my EX I could rip circles around my friends blasters and warrior too even before I put a couple small mods on it.(Full exhaust system,K&N air and oil filter flowing Amsoil synthetic and a dynojet jet kit from moose is pretty much the only mods to it)Also if you get use to the powerband you will be able to rip up roost on @ssholes too. Oh and I forgot to mension you can pull wheelies for miles.
I would strongly recommend a 400EX any day of the week.
Hope this helps,
Ron

mechanically speaking-ur gunna have to do work on the engine every 2-5 years. its not gunna blow up or anything else. if anything, the sprockets will wear or tires. nothing major. once it starts making funny noises, then its broken.
just curious, what year is it? any mods? anything look wrong?

go for a 125 dirtbike, way more fun and almost as fast i think.
(don't know, i have never raced one or seen a race between the two, for all i know it might be faster)
either way dirtbikes are fun

You would be very surprised! I bet that a 125 bike would beat your Shee, bikes are so much faster then quads!

pffffftttt, riding atvs in the snow/lakes is half the fun in the winter. just stud ur tires and ur good to go. it fills in that time that usually occurs b4 we get enough snow to go snowmobiling but its soooo cold that ponds freeze over. u know from december till christmas'ish. studded tires work great in frozen ground too, i put like 40 studs in each rear and 30 in each front. costs like $14 for all the studs(or screws if u wanna save money)
