what kind of oil would you fill the chaincase with? and any one know a good spot to find an oil fill cap, our threads got screwed up and we need a new 1

What ratio for the oil should we use?? our repair man said 32:1 and my book says 24:1 thats a pretty big difference, whats every 1 else use

What does the owners manual say?? Id go with that... Re tap out the oil filler hole and keep it there, or get a new part for it.

no, sorry i didnt explain that well, its the threads on the dip stick

And there is a metal tube linking the two carbs together, some one told me they help them stay inline with each other so everything is timed right, is that what they acualy are?

Bel ray gear saver works great, thats what I run in my bike. as for the dip stick they are probly 5 bucks at your local dealer. mixing 32:1 wont hurt a thing that is kind of the standard for every pre mix engine. I think what you have is a boost bottle, it keeps an air supply so the cylinders dont fight one anther for air/fuel, you wont see any power increses but people say they help.

does the boost bottle come with stock machines? im the only owner and never have put any thing on it, other than got me a set of paddles for those dunes
