Gas ratio for KX 250
What ratio should you mix the gas to for a late 80's KX 250?

either that or 50:1. you probably wont notice the difference in 40 and 50, and 40s safer.

32:1 or 40:1 is good 50:1 is to lean so either go with 32:1 or 40:1 it dont make much of a difference but if you have moding done to it go with 32:1.

what kinda oil? If its a full syntietic and has a high price tag u can go out to about 40:1 but i wouldn't risk any leaner. If its cheap or a mineral based oil i would stay around 32:1 to 36:1.

it depends how hard you ride it... if your always wide open and have it on the rev limiter, then run it at 32:1, but if you dont ride all that hard, run 40:1, i wouldn't go to 50:1, thats pretty lean, i run i think its around 37.5:1, i use honda hp2 oil and it comes in a 473ml bottle, i run one of those to 20L of gas, thats in my 02 cr125
