Converting a ATV
Does anyone know if you can buy a conversion kit for converting a ATV into basically a lifted golf cart? I seen one at the track, and the guy told me he converted his but did his own fabrication. He said there are kits out there you can get. I have not yet found any.

Why would you want to destroy a quad like that
Not sure if you can buy kits like that.
Hope not, lol.

You don't destroy it. You build it even better. Why would you reply if you don't know? I was just asking if anyone know's.

Ok ok chill out, i was just stating my opinion .
Have you tried googling it? just a suggestion
What are you wanting it like, a John deere Gator?
Another idea you could try asking on http://forums.atvconnection.com/index.cfm .
Someone there might know

Not sure what you are asking? but I think you want a golf cart with big knoby tires and a lift Right. If so, a guy I work with has converted a few golf carts like this, he has one that plows snow. He is currently building one and fitting it with a 550cc engin If this is the idea you are looking for I can ask him.

Yes basically like that. My neighbors friend converted his ATV into a lifted golf cart. Extended the length, and put on a golf cart type body, lift kit and tires. Looks really nice. Thought this might be a nice project. Ask your friend for me. Thanks.

I Talked to the guy I work with and he said all the golf carts that he has put big tires on he used I lift kit made for that brand of cart. then you can install big knobby tires, if you knew what all the parts looked like you could make your own. Im not sure if it would be worth it to cut apart a 4-wheeler to turn it into something else, sounds like a lot of work.
