I was around the gate from about 1030-1045...then we went shopping. I didn't see anyone in a black OCC hat the whole day, suprisingly. I picked up an MBRP Race silencer, DAMN its LOUD!!! I want to go riding. Did you find everything you headed out for? I meant to give ya my cell # too but it was way too early in the morning to remember something like that. Sorry.

not a problem, i was at the gate at that time also and i got what i went for, decals for the new pick-up, it looked pretty naked till today, also got some of those 3 for $10 tee shirts by the gate. i didn't think it was as good as last year though, i took the wife fri
night thinkin' that the place would not be packed, but it was a madhouse. i was lookin' at those v-force reeds pretty hard but
walked away. had some pretty nice sleds up there, i really liked that t-660 cat with the custom paintjob.

I'm technically in Ontario, but I can throw a stone into Wayne county from my house. I'm in the northeast most corner of Ontario county - just about touching Palmyra.
I just have to figure a way to get to the trails in the route 21/31 area. Those trails will take you all the way to Fair Haven and beyond (or as Buzz Lightyear would say "to infinity and beyond!") I'm about 5 miles away from the North Creek road / Hogback road intersection. According to the map, that gets you on the C4 Corridor trail! From there you can get to Williamson, Brantling, Webster, Walworth, Sodus, etc. Those trails will take you through Wolcott, and all the way up to Fair Haven and the Hannibal area.
I have a farm I can trailer to in Walworth, which is right on the secondary trail system, but I'd like to be able to hook up from home! Maybe there are some new trails now. The latest map I have is the Wayne County 2001/2002 edition.

hey rgoers acording to your location you are about 21 miles west of me, I know right where hogback and n. creek road are. port gibson/east palmyra area. if ya use LP gas i might be the delivery guy, depending on co.,. and mav yes i am planning a trip to old forge this year. i was going to get the trail permit at the show but forgot. i put a JACK 2-UP seat conversion on the mxz so the misses can go figuring on spending the weekend, have saved my vacation for winter I hope the wife enjoys it 'cause if she does we'll be addin' a Grand Touring to the stable next year

01MXZ800 - I was looking at the map last night with my son. Yep, Clyde is just a few miles to the east of us, right on route 31. I could probably catapult my cat to your house (if I owned a catapult). There's a local (unmapped) trail that runs up Canandaigua road, right to the P&C parking lot, and the Newcomb gas station to the west of P&C. We filled there last year, and it took minutes to get there from my house. Across the road from the Newcomb is a trail that runs back along the telephone lines. I saw it last year, but never checked it out. I'm hoping that it connects up to the piece of Corridor trail 4W in the Walworth/Fairport area. If it does, I'll never have to use my trailer this year. Where do you usually ride? The Wayne trail map doesn't show ANYTHING out your way! Are there local trails you run on, or do you trailer? I'd like to get out and meet you this winter... maybe we could do a day trip to Fair Haven Beach State Park.

we have a local trail that runs to the 104 trail and one that runs south towards geneva but the geneva trail might be a problem this year due to Amish folks buying up and fencing off land but i don't usally run that trail, then there is the old towpath on the erie canal that will take us to lyons and many other local trails.

Wish we could ride on the NEW canal trail! I could get anywhere from there, and it's a straight shot down my road, less than 3 miles from my house. I've seen the Police running their 4-wheelers down the trail (that doesn't allow motorized vehicles). Maybe if I paint "police" on the side of my sled...

i think that the police running that canal trail is BS 'cause it it is suposed to be "multiuse" unless you ride a sled. the towpath trail we have here is for non-motorized only but they look the other way as long as we don't ride the CSX tracks and besides if it wern'tfor sleds this trail wuold be overgrown by the time they mowed it, they are spending all this coin on these trails but where is our money we spend in reg. fees going? up north i assume which means having to trvel to get my moneyies worth.
judging from desribing where you live sounds like you live in pumpkin hook area.

I agree about our fees. We could use a few good local trails, including the use of the canal trails in the winter months.
As for location, I'm just off Route 31 in the Palmyra/Macedon area. The canal trail "T"s at the end of my road.
