How many Maine

I see alot of people in the midwest on but not many from Maine. How many are on here? I'm from Upper Penn and heard all about Maine sledding but it's kinda dead here especially this time of year.

Thumbs up Dieng breed

ApexSS
Us Mainers must be a dieing breed do the lack of snow until later in the year. We do have some of the best riding ever up north. Up north riding is awesome you have 4 lanes just like the interstate that are groomed everyday. You will see some of the most beautiful sites when ridding up into the mts when you hit the Jackman area. The Kataden loop is now complete giving you 150 mile ride around the lake. The temp is finally dropping and all we need is the snow to fly and lakes to freeze and we will no longer be landlocked

Im in the snow belt and have been ridding the last 2 weeks and they have been gromming here, and the trails are good, but will keep getting better.

sleddins gettin good up here with about 14 inches on the ground and another 5 or 6 on the way. Hopefully the riding lasts longer than it did last year, we got the snow too late!

Bangor Me here. I drove to Houlten about 2 weeks ago unloaded and rode to Madawaska and back 337 miles trails were great mostly groomed all beds were excellent. Like 583 said lots of open spots locally. I rode from Bradford to Milo yesterday and the trails were okay no big mud holes just a few goat paths. Snow is great early but its insulating everything and slowing freezing. We need cold!!!!

Palermo ME here. The sledding isn't bad. It's just the temperature...two days before XMas, and it's 40 degrees outside. I cried when I woke up. :/

Yeah I hear ya Russ. If I was closer I would take you up on that offer. New to Maine and riding alone is fun but with people is better. Anyone in the Lewiston area?
