Best place in Maine to ride?????

I have some friends and family driving from the U.P. to check out the Maine trails and my question to you is where is the best place to ride at the end of January? So far looking at Fort Kent, Jackman and Greenville areas. We like to ride hard and party at night. Would like a nice or decent Cabin with a bar near by. What ya think?

Post Jackman is killer

Jackman is the best by far hitting the end of January beginning of February. They just did the katadan loop witch like 150 miles around the mountain and lake. Their is tons of bed and breakfast spots too witch include bars so ya get to party and play hard at the same time. I will give you a heads up the popo watch sledders come in go in Jackman don't mean ya cant have fun they ussaly are hawks around 11 at night and later. The scenery is great and so is the hospitality and guaranteed to put some miles on the sled that would be my choice as a move in mainer of 16 years.

Thanks on the heads up on the Popo. They're like that in New Berry, Mi as well. You can't even have a couple of drinks thoughout the day without risking it. Yeah Jackman sounds nice. Are there Cabins were I can fit 6 in one unit with a location walking distance to bars? Again, want to avoid popo.

You live there?
