theres like 2 feet like half a mile out my back door. too bad its only there cuz its a ski resort. my thermometer is reading 32 so when i drive to school tomorrow, the road i live on should be covered with snow drifts from the local mountain making snow. i might take out my sled for a few rips up the side of the road before they plow

the season is still young guys. i normally dont see natural white stuff where i live till after january and i live up in the mountains.

Latest models predict at least, at least, another 3 weeks of 40 - 50 temps here in the Northeast. If that holds true, the only way I see us riding here in CNY would be if we got 2 or 3 decent lake effect dumps, and that is highly unlikely. And there is nearly no chance of the lakes being safe I wouldn't think. The wife mentioned the "s" word last night (s e l l)... and she is the one that bought them... if we don't see snow by the second week of Jan. they will prolly go back in the barn, it won't be worth it to register them and the trailer at that point. (Then we WILL get snow....)

Actually, about 3 weeks ago there was some decent lake effect just to the North and East of the Syracuse area and some of the guys managed a Thursday afternoon and a Friday night ride, but that was completely gone just a few days later. It is just too darned warm to snow.

some snow

We got around 6 inches today and its still snowing tonight. About time there was anly around 2 inches in the woods before today. I just pray that it doesnt warm up again and rain and or melt. I am so sick of these ridiculously warm temperatures. Ive been out ridding couple of my sleds today.

Yup same story around Gaylord... snowed a bit, only for it to melt as soon as the sun came out for a while...
