leak in gas tank

sled is a 2004 RMK 700. I went to take it off my trailer yesterday and saw gas was leaking down the right side of the tunnel. I opened the hood, removed the airbox, so I could take a look at the fuel line going to the fuel pump. Not leaking there. Took of the seat and didn't see any gas under the seat, but there was gas on the right side of the tank, near the bolt that secures gas tank to the tunnel.

Going to have to fully take the tank off of the sled, but I suspect there is a small pin hole leak in the tank itself. Not leaking all that much-there was still gas in the tank, was about half full still, just leaking real slow.

My question is-Is there a good reliable way to patch a hole in the plastic gas tank? I really don't want to buy a new one. I just bought a brand new Pro RMK 800, and I don't really want to sink much money into this older sled. Once I locate the hole should I just cover it in expoxy, or should I put a patch over it?
