My wife just rode her new (to her) 2003 Pantera for the first time on Saturday and she loved everything about it except for the seat. She wasn't complaining about the comfort, but rather how slippery it was. I think the PO had applied Armor All on it which caused her to slide around on it to the point that she became annoyed. Just wondering if there are any products or remedies for this?
Thanks 77, I'll give it a try.
I have noticed that the seat cover material on the Pantera is different than my other Cats, it isn't as soft or pliable and seems to be a little bit brittle with some minor cracking starting to occur. OE replacement skins are still available so I've decided to replace it in the near future.
I bit the bullet and ordered a new skin, it cost $159.00 which was less than I expected. I originally planned on replacing it next year but it's a 10 year old sled so who knows how long AC will continue to stock / sell them? I didn't want to find out the hard way so I placed the order yesterday.

It's amazing how much you rely on your legs gripping the seat to stay on the sled, huh!
