I know 600,700, and 800 all have different HP, but I want to know how much each engine displacement has from 2003 to 2006. I have to get an older sled unfortunately (personal reason I can't expresss here).
Also, my dad is selling his 2010 Venture for an older one too, any suggestions on what he should get.
Also any suggestions other then the firecats that I could get. I'll take any Yamaha or Cat.
How can you be so spoiled and consider a 2006 old?? Id be happy as hell if daddy would buy me an 06 sled!! Not be posting "I have to get an older sled unfortunately"... reconsider how you post things, because that makes you sound really spoiled.. 03 was the fastest.. In 05? they came out with the DD.. so thats your pick, if ya want chain driven or DD.. Id go with the f7.. in 03 the 7s were pretty much beating 8s anyway. What kind of riding do you do? An f7 is a great lake sled, but hear they can get pretty tippy in the twisties because of the 13.5 track.. Im goin by what ive heard, As ive never ridden one in the trails.. I rode my buddies 04 f6 and it had plenty of zip and felt pretty light..
the 600 was around 120 the 700 was 145 the firecat didn't have the 800 that was introduced in '07 in the f series on the spar chasis which is the same chasis as your current sled the 800 was also 145 hp in '07 but with supposedly better fuel milage
Sorry, didn't realize the old chasis only went up to 700, thought they went up to 800, but I definitaly knew there werent any 900 or 1000s, but they would have been amazing if there were
whatever you get make sure you let us all know so we can be jealous!
good luck in the search!
