I recently traded my Banshee for the sled, got it going and probably put 100 miles on it, now it will ride for about a minute and a half smooth, then immediately cuts out like its been shut off, once it sits for around 15 minutes it will start again ( less with choke) and repeats, also dripping oil from the exhaust manifold, any idea's? spark seams great.

I would look at Key switch, Throttle safety switch, and Kill switch first. If you do a little Search on this site or google "arctic cat TSS" you will find all sorts of info on this subject:thumbsup:

Also search how to Ohm test your stator. and next would be take a look at Coil/CDI box. You cant test the CDI but if you take it off and put it in freezer for 15 minutes if the sled runs great than maybe its getting hot. seen that before.

exactly what happened on my formula3.

it would start backfiring then cylinder would die, id raise
hood and have a smoke, then it would run fine.
was the coil to that cyl, it would cool off while
hood was up. just my .02

I had it apart, checked the stator, replaced the ignition timing sensor, replaced the coil pack rode and rode, and the the problem happened abruptly the next morning, I was told by a local dealer that it could be the choke plunger, what do you think?
