Silver Bullet

HELP. My hubby is really upset. 5 years ago, when he was restaring his 1973 silver bullet, the throttle stuck and it ran ahead and into a pole barn. The belly pan was severly dented. I want to give him a surprise christmas present. Luckily, he and our grandson weren't on the machine. I understand we need a total bottom assembly for this machine. It is an olympic model. Don't know what other years would fit. Please, Help me. Thanks, Sandi

Yup, There are a lot of Olympics for sale on eBay now and then, but you'll have to travel for some.

Wink silver bullet

Tanks. Just sent an inquiry re: the silver bullet. This is an original sled, no rebuilds. Not a whole lot of hours. Not driven off our property since 1984, as we have 66 acres. This was his baby. Just like his mustang cars. Winter ride vs. summer ride.

What other model years of Olympic?

Thanks people. Now, does anyone know what other years olympic frames match the bullets 1973? I'm sure (like vintage old cars), they didn't change them totally every year. Aesthetics like lights or trim, but the undercarraige stayed for a few years. Your help would help me in my search. Thanks again.

PS. An UNUSUALLY HOT & DRY WESTERN NEW YORK SUMMER !!

My prediction for this winter up here: Still waiting for my wooly-buggers.
