1996 Yamaha Venture

I fairly new to sledding, since I have never actually owned a sled until recently. I picked up an old 1996 Yahama Venture for near to nothing. It runs good, but has seen some days. My problem is this... I can't find the VIN to determine exactly what model this is. The only number I can find is on the right side of the tunnel and seems too short for a VIN number. It's engraved as 8CK-001607 and that's all I can find. Can anyone help me with this?

There won't be a VIN. After some research, it appears it may be VT480TRW. When in doubt, give the dealer a shout.
