Salem NH, and i used to be a mechanic so i had a dual piston caliper tool, well u could use a bench vise to, use a 1/4 socket 6mm shollow to start(fits perfectly over roller) then compress it till socket hits spider, then move up to 6mm deep same thing and it pops out, no damage to spider or roller ends.
Another trick getting spider off i made a socket that fits over spider, and took a 5 stud wheel bearing hub assembly, with all 5 studs in it, put the bearing in a bench vise just low enought so the sheave didnt hit the vise when on top of it, put the sheave down on the studs 5 lug hold better the 4 if you do this, then put the socket on with 1/2 breaker bar and a pole to help it along and spider popped off.. Im gonna take pics of what i made and maybe customize it alittle but if this helps save anyone money and time, and have any?s ill walk you through making one. only thing you really need is a welder to do this yourself
