Welcome to the forum!
In case you didn't know, the 06 700 is not the same block as any other 700.. it's actually a 755cc engine built on the same big block as the 05-06 900. That info is helpful when you go to get parts...
That version of the 700 is the Rodney Dangerfield of Polaris engines, it doesn't get much respect, mostly because of it's close ties to the awful 900. I have two buddies that run the 06 700 (RMK version) and their sleds run great. They have not had any engine problems. I hope your luck is as good!

Can't wait Neither!
I bought mine last winter half the way through but I couldn't ride much cuz I didn't get jack for snow. I have a 2006 Polaris Fusion 600 HO and i love it so far added to it this summer and i think it looks nice!

Welcome to the forum! I would tend to stay away from cans on trail sleds because the added noise might become annoying after a while, and the weight you save is not nearly as important as on a mountain sled. If you like the sound though, go for it!
