Hello Snowmobiliers!

Hi, I just got a 1969 Ski-doo 371 snowmobile for $10 bucks and plan on repairing it back to its glory days. Any advice or help would be awesome and were do I start?

welcome abord!!!!

1) remove & clean carb, get it spotless, jets must be clean!!
2) replace all fuel lines, dont miss the one in tank!!
3) check compression, wide open throttle, 5pulls, should be over 100psi.
4) check for spark, install new plug
5) pull away & see what happens.

Sup.

Anyway: I would personally start with Renny's number 3-5 and see what's happening. If she wants to run but the carb won't let her, then jump to step 1 and repeat. IMO

And renny, if you're gonna steal SEG's tag line for the new members, at least spell "aboard" right. lol

Well, you'd probably want to know if youre gonna need pistons before you start.

And from what I hear your huge, so your spelling limit should be right around 13-14. Lol
