Lot's of Sharpies on board

New to the forum...............did a lot of browsing and found out there are plenty of sharp minds out there. Don't have any specific issues with the sleds (son has 03 F5, I drive POS 97 ZR580 EFI) just yet, but good to know there are some real smart sledheadz who I can ask. Been around 2-strokes all my life; raced competitive enduro karts for 15 years so I've smelled a lot of alky/klotz. Currently an auto engineer at large domestic. 2nd home in N.Mich.

Nice to have you. How do you like the F5 compared to the old ZR?

PI500,
Live in Rochester Hills; working in Dearborn makes for a long commute. Indian River is great........summer time boating, inland water route even gives access to the Big Lakes. Winter time provides plenty of snow and am only 1/4 mile off of the state trails. A one hour drive across the Big Mac to the UP gets me to some of the best trails in N.A....it's worth the drive.

B-Dog,
Hard for me to compare the two sleds, since my boy won't let me near the F5 (unless it needs gas or repair) lol! He always makes me ride point, so I suspect he's doggin' it back there.

Welcome to the snow show!. I live in Howell and commute to Dearborn as well. (60mi. one way). I have property in Gladwin County. I used to live on your side of town. Maybe we might know each other.

SnowRida,
Noticed you're a Hockey-Dad...............spent 10+ years in rinks all winter myself. Daughter played for Little Caesar's several years until she finished HS. Now I got time in the winter to get outside to have fun. Found out it's cheaper to go sledding Up North 2X/month than it is to go to out-of-town hockey tournaments...hard to believe, but true!! Now I get to spend great times with my boy blastin' trails in N. Mi & UP.

I'm spending alot a time at the rinks right now. District playoffs are going on. Little Ceasers playoffs are coming up. Would really like to spend more time on the trails right now. But that will come agian in time.

Had to quick run outside & look at the sign on the building.....looks like they forgot to put that "S" on the end. Yeah, been there 25+ years working in Product Development.

No Kiddin'!!! I'm at PDC, too!! Small world/forum..........
Kid's winter break is next week, so I'm hopin' for some snow Up North!! I think the UP (N of M28) still has some decent riding......might head up there from I.R.
PS - I see you editted your previous post & deleted the "S" from Fords (lol)!

Yes I did, thanks for pointing that out. I have property in Gladwin County, and we're going up next weekend. If there's no snow, we'll bring the ATV's, those will work!
