Talking 1998 Arctic Cat jag

Hello everyone,
I just got a 1998 440 Arctic Cat Jag Deluxe. It is in great shape and I am excited to have it. I was wondering if anyone knew of any junked snowmobile yards that would have a starter for this machine. It has electric start but the starter was taken out from the original owner. I would also like to get a mirror from the sled. I have not seen many of these snowmachines around. That is one reason that I bought it. I was wondering if anyone out there owns or has owned one. Thank you much,
Whitkar22

hey, if the 440 is the same engine used in the Z440, then a electric starter from a Z440 should work too, though I'm not sure about clearances and the such

96 and up Z's are the same engine. That should broaden your search a little.

and Super Moderator does it again!

it shouldnt be hard to find, and the jags are nice sleds, from what i've seen. two guys we rode with quite a bit last years had AC's- one a jag and had no problems. the other, im not sure what he had, but it was so cold to start, he had to dump gas on the plugs. no problems with jags though.
