New to Sledding
Hi all,
Just wanted to post a blurb to the new-to forum. I live in Hampden, Maine and just recently purchased a 1992 Polaris RXL 650 from a guy in the local area. I am anxiously awaiting the first decent snow so I can cut out across the street and hit the trails. The sled is in great shape for being 12yrs old and only has 3k on it. I am very new to sledding, the only other time I have gone was with a friend of mine in the Cascade Mountains and that was riding an Indy 500. I am curious on the performance of this sled. It is stock except for being picked - so I am hoping it has some pep to it. Any feedback let me know. I figured since literally a third of the year here is cold, I might as well have some fun in the winter. I am also an avid boater - but the boating season here is not the longest.
