I have a 90 GSXR right now. Any 2-up sled is good. Ski Doo Grand Tourings are good, Yamaha Ventures, etc.

A gixxer huh? No probs with that. Good bikes. Older ones good too. Personally always preferred hondas, though had a kawa kx dirt bike and yamaha dirt bike. Street only had harleys and hondas.

I'm still a little surprised that two strokes are still the norm in snowmobile world. I've had both two and four strokes in dirt bikes, and watched the four stroke revolution happen years back. Considering the number of units sold, guess it makes sense that snowmobiles are farther back in the evolution chain, but still surprised.

Contrary to what most young pups know, it really began changing over in early 80's.

What's your speed record on land, water, or snow? And what's your favorite go fast vehicle?

My fav was an 89 bmw3 series. It was a boxy little thing but it felt really solid at speed and gripped the road well.

I had my uncles 07 Seadoo RXP 255 hp, supercharged, up to 72 MPH, according to speedo, so GPS would probably be more like 68 ish..

I hit 102 MPH in my cousins '98 Corvette

And snow, I never really go any faster then 85 MPH

I don't own a bike (I'm too young!), but for a two-up anything in good condition should do. With young children make sure the rear seats have heated grips; it makes a difference! For cars, I prefer trucks, preferably driving my Dad's Ford F-350 Diesel. I love big, strong, good-looking trucks and Camaros!

Whoa--sounds pretty fast on the snow.

l75 (at the track) has been tops for me, and that seemed pretty darn fast on good pavement. It actually seemed less fast on the bike, and safer, than it did in the car.

Being midengined, the car just didn't drift well and you had to keep the power through the corners especially if you went in to the corner too hot. I tried to let off too late twice and spun both times. Driving bikes fast just always seemed easier to me.
