Welcome to the forum!
We get a lot of riders on long trips from your neck of the woods up here in North Eastern Ontario. You can start further south of course and ride up to or through our area. We are about 8 hours drive north of Toronto with half decent riding available starting in North Bay during the middle of the season.
Our trails in the Kirkland Lake area, part of the TATA Region (Temiskaming-Abitibi Trail Association) opened Dec 22 and closed Mar 27 this year. We offer some of the best and longest lasting trails in Ontario. Many round trips can be run from Kirkland Lake with very little doubling back. Our area has been featured in many Canadian and American snowmobiling magazines. If you do come up, check the website links I've listed in my signature for trail info. Check out
Go Snowmobiling! Connect with your family and friends this winter. for Ontario wide info, we are in District 14 of the OFSC system (Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs).
If you only drive through the area, consider taking the alternate routes as many riders stick to the "A" trail system and miss a lot of beatiful riding areas. The "A" trails are typically straighter, and generally quicker but the side routes are just as wide and smooth.
Check out some trail pics in my gallery, see link below.
