new to the game

Just bought a 99 rmk last fall with a 151 in track, and i'm figuring out the up and downs of mountain riding. Lots of getting unstuck. No mechanical problems with my sled yet, but my friend also bought a sled, and the pull start is seized up. So I'm trying to figure out how to go about helping him fix it. I don't know a ton about wrenching on sleds, but I bought my sled with intentions of learning how to work on it. Joined the site because I thought it would useful to learn from others experiences and maybe help me fix my friends sled.
