Another "howdy" from Maine

So...ahhh...howdy!

I just took possession of a very (very!) beaten-up-but-still-salvageable 1976 TNT 340, and found these forums while looking for info and parts. Looks like this will be a fantastic resource, and I'm looking forward to scouring the existing posts for info and answers. I plan on restoring this machine back to excellent working order, although I do plan to deviate from the original color scheme.

I haven't owned or ridden any kind of sled in well over 15 years, so I'm basically starting from scratch and may be asking some extremely newbish questions. I promise you all, though, that I do know how to use the search function and will try not to post repeats of FAQs.

I'm really, really hoping that my restoration project will go well and I'll have 'er ready for next season. I'm confident that the fine folks here will be able to help me reach that goal!
