Hey everyone, new to the forum!
I've been looking for some quality Snowmobile forum sites and finally stumbled across this one. Looks to be a great forum!
I'm on Dootalk and snowmobileworld as well at the moment, same username.
Anyways, I started out riding on a 1980 Polaris 440TX, and have pretty much used that my whole life. Whenever we went on rallies I was forced to borrow someone else's newer sled as people were embarrassed by the old 440... Probably because it would blow by them! (Seriously that thing ripped... It just didn't have much in terms of a suspension)
After years of hounding by my riding buddies I finally upgraded and bought myself a '96 Ski-Doo Formula STX 583. Awesome sled and I highly recommend it!
Donated the 440TX to a charity auction... And lo and behold one of my riding buddies bought it and is using it in the antique races, figures haha.

Oh and if you notice smoke in that picture I should find you some shots of it from the exhaust side... Lets just say she wasn't running too well last season but it's in the process of getting all tuned up at the moment and will be ready to go for this weekend!
