T-660
Thanks Skidoo_magoo, I liked the T660 turbo alot,it was very Quiet and great on fuel, the only two draw backs were the weight and ride in the rough, I had the touring model with the long track which was great on the smooth. The new RTX may be the finast sled I have rode so far, still doing suspension tuning, but it great so far. I have heard some complaints about low speed exhaust noise but ear plugs gets rid of that.

Arctic cat
Thanks 94zr580 for the welcome, I have had several other Cat's besides the T660, also a 88 EL Tigre 5000 and a prowler 440. The 5000 had some issues with the knock pins on the crank bearings and kept loosing a cyl. finally fixed under warranty and was ok after that.

ski-doo
Thanks smallengineguy, I have been a die hard Ski-doo rider for the last 15 years having owned a formula mx, 92 Mach 1, formula Z and a Grand Touring 583 all trouble free. in 04 I tried the T-660 4 stroke and was hooked on smoke free riding. The new RTX is a blast!

Gottabeemer I agree with ya on the sleds the 660 is a clean (real) quiet sled. many times I'd ride up on someone without them knowing I was there and the apex gt is just a blast, love them both though

The problem with the 660 is turbo lag. From a stand still you grab the throttle it starts off slow then the turbo kicks in and then hold on cause it pulling your arms. It's a great crusing sled real quiet and easy on gas all you hear is the track turning and the skis if the drag on something

t660
I never found the turbo to be bad as far as lag went, with the touring long track it grabbed so much snow that when the turbo spooled up it accelerated like most 600's.My fellow riders were quite impressed with the performance it dished out. Most of them were riding 600 Ski-doo's or A/C F6 and gas mileage was always better than all of the 2 strokes even the sdi.
