good deal?

I found an add for a 98' RMK 700 and the guy was asking $1,600.

What do you think of this price and is 98' to old a year handle going just about anywhere?

Seems like a good price to me. And if it was well maintained/treated, it should do anything you want.

Sounds good until you see it! I just went through all that while I was looking for a sled.

Sounds like a good deal but make sure to look it over very carefully.

sounds good as long as everything is in good condition..if you have to replace multiple things its questionable..but hop it works out for you!

If it has the 220 cylinders, look out for broken/cracked ports. The 220's had more horsepower, but are not as durable as the 824's. If it is a stock sled with not too many miles, it would be a good deal. If you can, take the plugs out and get a bend-a-light to see the piston tops and cylinder walls to see if you may have issues. If you can take the carbs and exhaust off to look at the pistons and ports, that can tell you a lot, too. New cylinders are about 400 bucks, that can quickly eat away at a good deal...

sounds almost too good to be true.check the track boogie wheels.look at the mileage..ya know general signs of well maintained or rough abuse.
