conversion.

ok guys..... i was thinking of converting my panther 440 into a 136" track.... do they make 136x16? if not will a 15 wide fit? and will the motor be big enough to do some pow pow riding?

they do make 136x16 tracks, but my guess is that it will be to wide. have you measured it? also when going with a bigger track you have to regear. you would also have to find a skid that would fit. it would be cheaper (and a lot less work) just to sell your panther and buy an xlt or something like that. by the time you spent money on a track ($400), skid ($100-$175), and gears, you could have bought a sled that already had a 136 track, and has a lot more power as well as updated suspention. just my .02

really? wow, i didn't think any of the older sleds had 16" wide tracks... is it the stock track?

That should already be a 136 track on there.
By matching up the appearance of the seat to the parts listings, you have an 89, not 90 Panther.
