Gear weight

So i read in Snotech Mag. that if you get a set of light weight gears for your sled the it saves 3.5 lbs and is the equivalent to shaving 25lbs off your sled because it lessens the rotating mass. As anyone tried this yet, i think i will give her a try on my rmk but may leave the Switch back alone untill i can try it. Thoughts?

makes sense in theory, but i'm sure they exagerated a little on the 25lb. still should help though.

they say for every lb. of rotating mass that you loose is like 7lbs. what this means is for every 1lb. of rotating mass you drop is like dropping 7lbs of weight. it doesn't mean your sled is 7lbs lighter it just seams that way to your engine.
