yeah i have an m5, m6, and m8 and i would say at least bump it up to the m6 because i find the m5 a little gut less at only 80 horespower the m6 has 120 but i dont know mhat type of riding you do so good luck on your choice

a crossfire is about 40 60 mountain/trail. trail being 60 if you look at one of those you might want to put a 2inch track on it but talk to your dealer or get your parents to cause thats how we got to demo it im only 15 but ive got to demo almost any sled before we bought it. so i say you should talk to your dealer and see if they will let you take one out for a day or they might have more information for you to.

M6 you will have fun in the powder fields and would have to do something real stupid to kill yourself, but that is true with every sled. I powder ride and to me the trail riding is more dangerous because of all the ricky racing of the other guys and how they take blind corners. The 40/60 means the sled is made for trail and can be taken off trail with a longer track and lugs. So when the snow is not fresh for off trail the rider can still have a day on the trail, but a mountain sled better stay home or risk burning it up.

Not sure if you are partical to Arctic Cat, but for the money you may look into a Polaris. I personally like the looks of them better and the Shift RMK 600 is very affordable. Then again this is more of a mountain sled, so it really depends on what kinda riding you want to do.
