Polaris deep snow sleds?

Polaris 09 line up of mountain sleds look a little of the wall. 800's with 144 and 146 tracks? Should not see much of those unless most buyers will pay a little extra and leave the 600's in the dust. No 700 with a 163 inch track, that looked liked my sled of choice if I was in the market. IMO too many small track options so if your are a polaris rider you better snow check a long track.

Hell, one thing that has bugged me about machines of of late is the lack of 1.75 - 2" lugs and a 136 or 144 track in a 700 and/or 800. Yet another reason I stick with my 97 RMK, it has a 136 inch track (1.75") behind 140 HP 700 twin. Tree riding is excellent, and I can climb hills still with some of the newer longer 144 and 151 track guys. Since my riding style is about %20 hill climbing, %50 tree riding and %30 trail riding, these abnoxiously long tracks are not what I want, but I do want power.

They don't seem to attractive for the rider who can wait for that foot or more of snow. Since I wanted to look at an 800 dragon last fall but was told a person had to snowcheck them. I was surprised and lookes like a rider won't be able to settle for a 700 dragon already in stock this fall with about a hundred other choices that are all about the same. Boring subject but they seem to be giving the hardcore mountain rider to the other brands. Their dealers all had 800 models to kick a tire instead of snowchecking only. For you long track dragon riders are you shocked they have cut down again?
