I hope they are still working on adding more info on their site like a video and more pics. The LE M models looks dumb with a star on the seat? Also don't like the sound of lowering the center of gravity, might make it harder to turn in the deep. Wish I had the bucks to find out.

I heard they made them lighter still for 09'. The reverse has been changed so the motor actually reverses, rather than the gearbox. I dont think there are too many other differences. Different graphics ofcourse. I personally was expecting alittle more from AC. I dont really like the way the look and to me it doesnt seem that they really upgraded much. Though I will say that the 08' M series didnt have much wrong with it that I could find. I dont like the graphics at all on the 09's...kinda bland. Have to wait to see them in person.

The graphics don't look like much, simple like a pack of gum but I would still get one if I was in the market. Like the looks of the running boards, they should not build up ice.

What do you think of the new track? To me the lugs look to stiff for the deep snow. I was surprised how well the soft lugs worked in deep snow on the 07. A little scary going down a hill that is icy around trees.

I actually had a chance to look at all the new 09 models this week the biggest differences in the 09's are the whole rear skid is completely different they went to boogie wheels for one the whole suspension is different the rails are completly different. They have changed the fuel mapping in the efi so they have better throttle response and run better. I ride with a guy that was able to ride one and he said that they are completly different than the 07's and 08's they side hill very easily and they are very very nimble and they feel very light. As far as the track goes it was designed after tha attack 20 track but alitte different amazing in the powder and really good on the hard pack im going to buy one and put it on my sled instead of the challenger.

Lots of money but glad to see their 800 is not going up but still can't get one either. AC sure want a lot for the m1000's. At least they usually have good end of the year sales and thats how I ended up with my 07 M8. Good little changes on the 09's wishing I had on mine.

Ya I would agree. End of the year/season sales are the way to go. If you find the right place you can get a very good deal. I know a couple places I can get an 08' M8 for just over cost!!! Just have to know where to go.

m8

I have just purchased a new m8 here in b.c. 10,800 a 09 is 12,900 they went up from last year 1000.00 from what i seen anyways. i also seen actual weight tests in a mag last month none of the sleds were what they claimed,if i remember right the m8 was more like 12lb. I think the new suspension does'nt look as strong as the 08 but looks good.that 2000.00 savings can get you some hp ,lose you some weight and get some nice riding gear, I do like the electronic reverse on the 09 though. the 08 is a great sled and i think after mine is broke in i will get a silencer and maybe a big wheel kit and it will be a great 08.
