Thumbs up 08 dragons look good.

Polaris has beefed up the dragon and should see some on the mountain. 800 with a 163 inch track should meet powder junkies needs for a little extra money, for a new machine that is. Too bad they didn't have some of this lineup last year for deep snow.

Last weekend we had an 08 rev xp 800 with a 154, a 08 800 dragon with a 163, a m1000, and a 08 700 dragon with a 155. There was about 12 of us and we got to ride each others sleds. There was not one person (xp rider included) the said there was anything that could touch that 800 dragon. The guy on the m1000 was pissed when he got stuck and 700 dragon passed him.

Josh we went to petersville. BskidooC, the m1000 had a 162.
Sorry for the low detail pics, the light was bad. Just to through this in there, the guy on the m1000 ordered a 800 163 but didnt want to wait. After riding the dragon he regrets not waiting. Also any one near Anchorage, i just heard that marita sea and ski is getting 3 800's with 155 tomorrow.

The xp went over backwards.

Close up of a stuck m1000

Thats the 700 dragon on the bottom, i believe the xp is above him.

An 05 rmk comming down from the backside to help.

Great pics. Looks like a riot!
I rode the 07 Dragon 600 yesterday and I was so impressed. I couldn't believe the power for a 600 and the maneuverability. So easy to throw around. My Buddy who has the 600 demo-ed the 800 and he decided to stay with the 600. He said not a huge difference. That's my next sled!
One pic from our only mishap yesterday. 2005 Polaris 800 RMK with a 163(?) track punched into a tree well.

How's it working so far? I want to hear about their 800's from the buyers! I'm curious about if they shovel deep snow and do the running boards get iced up bad?

Drove 900 miles round trip last weekend with a friend to pick up his new 800 153" Dragon. (those things are hard to get a hold of!) We heard about a few issues that they have. (getting snow in the air box through various holes) We think we have addressed all the problems we know about. We'll give it a good test this week in the Bighorns This will be be a good test to see how they perform. We'll have the dragon, an xp and my M on this trip. I'll post pics and let you know which performed best and how the dragon does.

On the topic of the 08 Dragons, my buddy just picked up, well, picked up in like November, his 08 Dragon 700. Thing is a beast, I've rode with him a few times, can't say I personally have rode it, but it moves. Looks like a blast to ride! I'm jealous.

Yes my 700 dragon runs like a beast!! I've just picked up my 800 dragon and just breaking it in, its got a little problem which looks like we found it, the baffel in the can has come lose and its not developing the power i expect from the 800 as my 700 dragon is hot!! so that should make a big difference!!! so if you are riding with someone and their 800 dragon sled is not performing that could be the reason.

Talking dragons breath fire

Well my dragon has got its fire!!! It took awhile to get it going the way it should, i mentioned that the bafel had come lose in the can, there has been 3-4 others that i know in this aarea that has the same problem. so with alittle help; from SLP its got some fire!! from o to 80 its fast, i had to add the 66 gm weights as the 62 were way to light. I am not getting full shift yet but it seems to be getting better, finally got about 200 miles on it and its running better all the time. I was out with a friend who has a new xp 800 doo and we were neck in neck in the deep stuff and on the flat on good going he could not catch me!!! and he is 60 lbs lighter then me plus 50 lbs lighter sled . make my day!!!!I saw a 800 dragon with a 163 works good! I have a 155 track on mine which is a good compromise,as i do trail ridding also. so time to go play in the steep and deep!!!! watch those avalanches folks, dragon rider out!
