m7 bog help please

I have a stock m7, it started to bog, so the dealer sent back the ecu, got it back and it is still there, if not even worse. I have heard some things about sheeve clearance, but do not know what that is, so i cannot check it.

Any help would be much appreciated, this has been one frustrating ride so far.

Thanks,
Matt

You need to make sure the clutching is not the culprit here.
Check both the primary and secondary for dirt/binding/worn parts.

Its and EFI model, not a carbed sled, which I believe you are talking about?

If you think about fuel on these things, I think its pretty simple, correct me if im wrong.

All we could really be talking about as far as problems is, fuel injectors, which if they typically go bad, they are bad, which is not what is happening, fuel pump, i would think along the same lines as the injectors, if it goes bad it goes bad, not in between, and the computer, which got sent back to arctic cat, so i would hope that this is fine, gunk or water in the gas, i tore the tank off and it looks perfect, spark plugs, replaced those twice, they look fine.

If there is anything else, i would be open for suggestions, but beyond that, i have to imagine its got to be clutching...

Thanks for the help!

I also have a 06 M7 and it was getting a bogg.
It was fuel in the end
I also was told to check the power valve make sure that the servo motor works by put the sled up and running it as you walch the clear box to see if the servo motor pulls the cables at about 6000 rpm
then you need to pull them apart and cean them as well

please tell use what it ends up beening when you get it figurd out

I bought my wife the 2006 M7 which also had the same problem. I also rode the 05 M7 and experienced the same thing. Dealer told me might be clutching but found out that thats just the way they are. They Bog on the bottom end. I've installed the aftermarket Air Intake kit from SLP I believe and also the screen kit that you put in the air box itself to let that thing breath. Noticable differance but not like you would expect from an EFI model. Kit in all ran about $65 to install yourself.

I also have the 4 inch intake some clutch work andit still did bogg I found that if I wormd it up then switched it to ethonol inriched fuel mode run it for a 5 or 10 seconds then go back to the normal fuel mode I loses the bog makes no sense but works. I hope that its a computer problem. still has that little m7 hesitation but that I dont mind so much

Was talking to Bret Rassmussen from AC today and he suggested a fuel starvation issue. Bigger fuel pump and inline regulator. Since our M7 is the wifes sled think i'll leave it alone till she complains again.
