First Timer

Ok i have only been snowmobiling for 2 years actually 1 year bc were i live we didnt get enough snow this year. well i have a 98 mxz ski-doo its stock.I was wondering what would i need to do to it so i would be able to drive it up north in like caraboo maine in the mountains? or would it not even be worth the money??

well, i think the big things with mountain riding are going ot be rider skill, long/qualified track, and power to turn that track.

so if you could mod it out with like a long track (dunno how big you could go, sorry) and gave it some help in the power area, you could do it.

sorry for not giving specifics, but all i can really do is point you in the areas to look to improve

If you are going to stay on the trails your ok. If you plan to make trails in a foot or more of fresh snow look into a deep snow machine with at least 151 inch track with at least 2 inch paddels. My ski-doo summit 800 does great in deep snow right out of the box.
