Rental sleds. A sign or a gimmic?

Ive been doing research and trying to find the best sled to shop for and i thought id look at the forum obviously and the pro videos and i thought id check what the rental companies are offering. Every rental place ive looked into is offering SkiDoo rentals.
Does SkiDoo have the best marketing team or are these the best sleds for beginners or are they the most comfortable or the cheapest?

I'm betting it's because they were the least expensive. The places that rent here rent Polaris and Arctic Cat sleds, not a Skidoo in sight.

I'm betting the tools and experience the shop mechanic has comes in to play, as well.

All the major manufacturers make a nice product. I'm sure there's a lot of reasons a rental company uses one over the other. I bet if you ask them, they will tell you.
