The biggest thing you need for riding mountain powder is a paddle track. Hopefully your track lugs are deep enough.

It all depends on the snow. If you are in 2 feet of powder with that sled, you won't climb the steep stuff and you will probably be digging out a lot instead of having fun. If the snow gets hard, you can go a lot of places with a short track. I've climbed some pretty steep hills with my short track zr's and they have a short track with 3/4" lug, but not in the powder.

SEG is right, a deeper lug/longer track will get you more places, plus most mountain sleds are designed to get up on top of the powder instead of burrowing through it.

Not gonna lie. The firecats are said to be the worst powder sleds. The 13.5inch wide track kills it. Thats from reports, i am yet to try it first hand.
