I am currently working on a 1996 formula z and the lights keep surging up and down but mostly stay dimmer than they should. Once in a while they will brighten up but only for a few seconds. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Louis

Possibly the regulator. But check all of your plugs, wiring, etc. to make sure it is getting a good ground first.
