Used are hard to find. New around $350. Have you tried to find a used Arctic Cat clutch instead of a comet?

CLUTCH

IM NOT GOING TO BE PICKY ON THE CLUTCH, AS LONG AS IT WORKS AND WILL FIT MY SLED, I WILL BE HAPPY. ARE ALL ARCTIC CAT CLUTCHES THE SAME, WILL FIT ALMOST ARCTIC CAT MOTOR NO MATTER THE SIZE?

You need the one for your engine size, and whether it's liquid or air cooled. All air cooled 500 cc's used the same clutch, it was just springed differently for each model.

clutch for 1986 arctic cat cougar 500fc

All the later cat clutches are comets. you should be able to get one new for about 250. and the springs and cams are extra. you might be able to order it from your dealer a a discount for a complete oem setup.
