i recently bought an xcr, it has tripple pipes, on the manifolds or whatever, it looks like they dont fit right or something and one header is missing both springs, and i can see one of those metal gaskets broke......should i try to fix this or just put the stock system back on?

The springs that hold the pipe to the manifold are prone to breaking, they vibrate a lot. Missing and broken springs is a maintenance item, kind of like changing plugs. I take some RTV silicone and put a bead down one side of the spring, it helps to prevent vibration and adds to the life of the spring.

As far as the triple pipes... a lot of the XCR's came with triple pipes, so it could be the stock exhaust system. Find your sled here

I would keep the triple pipes, when they are set up right, you have a pretty substantial hp increase over a single pipe. And there is NOTHING like the sound of a triple/triple!

Good luck!
