i too just got back from dane county.i agree with you,the northern trails were much better than the southern trails.i also have to say i felt SO outdated on my 02 xc800.i had the oldest sled everywhere we stopped.nothing but '10's,11's,12's and even a handfull of 13's.can't wait to head to vilas county when they get the snow !

Went out this morning and afternoon in southern columbia county and northern dane county. Trails were very good, except in the woods, which were rough with snirt at every corner. All trails have been groomed in the last couple days, and saw a handful of groomers out today. Trails are fast and smooth. With next week looking like mid to upper 30's this could be the last weekend for awhile the trails will be open around here. Please stay on the trails and be safe.

Hey there. I live just to the east of West Bend and am also looking for new people to ride with. Now that we have some snow again and the trails are open, let me know if you want to meet up. I'll be going out most every day for at least a short ride, and am looking to find some people to do a longer ride with.
